Bertie es un chico llamativo e inteligente que está listo para encontrar un hogar amoroso y comprensivo. Forma fuertes lazos con sus personas y muestra su afecto acercándose para recibir cariño y abrazos, una vez que seas su persona, serás realmente especial para él. Bertie disfruta de sus paseos diarios y especialmente le encanta explorar rutas silvestres. Normalmente camina bien en correa, pero a veces puede ser fuerte, especialmente por algunas interesantes olfateadas. Está cómodo llevando un bozal durante los paseos, ya que puede encontrar perros desconocidos abrumadores. Con presentaciones lentas y calmadas en la correa, puede hacer amigos caninos, sin embargo, beneficiaría más de áreas de paseo más tranquilas con menos perros sin correa, y se sentiría muy bien con dueños que puedan llevarlo a campos cerrados para correr, le encanta un juego de tira y afloja y hará un desfile de su victoria antes de volver a jugar. Bertie is a striking and intelligent boy who is ready to find a loving, understanding home. He forms strong bonds with his people and shows his affection by leaning in for fuss and cuddles – once you’re his person, you’re truly special to him! Bertie enjoys his daily walks and especially loves exploring woodland routes. He generally walks nicely on lead but can be strong at times, especially for some interesting sniffs. He is comfortable wearing a muzzle on walks, as he can find unknown dogs overwhelming. With slow, calm on-lead introductions he can make canine friends, however he would benefit most from quieter walking areas with fewer off-lead dogs, and would thrive with owners able to take him to enclosed dog fields for a good run around, he loves a game of tug-of-war and will parade his victory around before coming in for another play. Bertie would need to be the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He is very food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding, but can be a little over excited with his treats at times.Bertie is such a clever boy, he would love a home interested in continuing his training, scent work, enrichment activities and other ways to keep his active mind engaged. Bertie adores his humans and can find being left alone difficult, so he will need owners who are happy to gradually build up his confidence with alone time. He is looking for an adult or older-teen household who are comfortable with larger breeds. Bertie is a truly wonderful boy with so much love to give. With the right home, he will make an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.
