Joulu on ohi mutta meillä on yhä pieni joulutonttu koirakylpyssä. Tervetuloa Buddy, joka on noin 10 kuukautta vanha. uskomme hänen olevan bull herder, suosituksena viime aikoina noussut rassikas. Hän on todennäköisesti alankomaalainen herderi X mastiff -risteys. Buddy on nuori ja huumorikas poika, jolla ei ole saanut paljoa sosiaalisuutta tai koulutusta. Kun hän ensin tuli, hän löysi asiat melko ylivoimaisiksi, mutta nyt kun hän on sopeutunut, hän rakastaa matkailua kävelyvieraidensa kanssa. Buddy tykää pitkistä hengityskävelyistä oppia maailmasta, kävely voi kestää pidempään tästä syystä, mutta hänellä on elämänsä parhaat hetket! Koska Buddylla on näin monet rotut, hän etsii kotia, jossa on kokemusta työrotuista, jotka vievät hänet koulutusluokkiin ja mahdollisesti osallistuvat urheiluun hänen kanssaan, jotta hän voi pitää aivojaan toimivina ja täyttyneinä! Buddy tykää ajastaa tukipalloja puistossa, mutta mitä hän rakastaa eniten on lähellä olevat ihmiset, hän on kaikkein lämpimämpi poika, joka haluaa rakkautta. Buddy työskentelee koirasosiaalisuuteen, hän on tällä hetkellä työskentelemässä siitä käyttäytymisryhmämme kanssa ja tekee edistystä. Kävelyissään vapaaehtojen kanssa hän kykenee ohittamaan koiraakin etäisyydeltä ilman reaktioita. Uudet omistajat tarvitsevat jatkossakin positiivisen palkitsemisen perustuvaa koulutusta auttaakseen häntä kasvamaan uudessa kotinsa kanssa. Buddy etsii pitkäntekoa kotia, hän on tällä hetkellä etsimässä koira-aikeista kotia, kunnes hän sopeutuu. Hän voi asua lapsien 16+ kanssa, jotka ovat koirapohjaisia ja kissoja riippuen esittelyistä keskuksessa.

Buddy is approximately now 1 year old and has been with us at the centre for around 5 months. He is a young, fun, working type crossbreed, likely a Dutch Herder x Mastiff mix. Since arriving, he has grown in confidence and is now really starting to show his cheeky, affectionate personality. Buddy is a lively lad who is still working on his social skills and learning about the world around him. He can be worried by children, some new people, and unfamiliar situations, so he will need understanding and patient handling as he continues to build confidence. He absolutely loves getting out on his adventures. Buddy enjoys water, shade, and quiet wooded areas where he can enjoy stress free sniffs, bird watching, and his favourite squirrel patrol. Walks are all about exploration for him, and he takes his time soaking everything in. Buddy is very affectionate and loves nothing more than spending time with his humans. While he enjoys a good game of tug and garden play, what he values most is human company and interaction. He has been working closely with our behaviour team and is making steady progress with his canine social skills. His new family will need to continue with positive reward based training to help him continue to thrive and grow in confidence. Buddy is looking for a calm semi rural home environment where he can work on himself and gradually build his confidence. Over time, he can then be gently introduced to new experiences, people, and places outside his comfort zone at his own pace. Confident patient handlers are essential for this young exuberant boy to help him feel secure and supported. He also enjoys garden play and would benefit from secure enclosed outdoor spaces or fenced exercise areas where he can safely burn off energy and enjoy enrichment activities. Buddy has come such a long way during his time with us and is now ready to take the next step into a home of his own, where he can continue to flourish. If you are looking for a fun affectionate and characterful young dog with lots of potential, Buddy could be the perfect match. We would be happy to consider homes with resident neutered canines, multiple introductions at the centre on a weekly basis would be required.
