Dexter è alla ricerca di una casa tranquilla e prevedibile in un'area rurale silenziosa, con adottanti attivi che possono portarlo a tante avventure esplorative in aree di passeggiata tranquille e che gli offriranno tutto l'attento e la cura che merita. Può vivere con bambini di età universitaria/college che giocheranno bene con lui e gli daranno spazio per riposare quando necessario. Dexter vorrebbe essere l'unico animale domestico in casa così da poter ricevere tutta l'attenzione per sé. Può essere molto preoccupato dagli altri cani, quindi preferirebbe fare le passeggiate in aree tranquille in modo da poter esplorare in pace. È un ragazzo intelligente, ha già imparato "seduto", "tocca", "siediti" e "addestramento alla gabbia" nel sacco, è anche addestrato al guinzaglio e alla maschera perché andrà a casa con un guinzaglio e una maschera per il suo istinto predatorio. È felice di imparare di più in brevi sessioni dolci con l'aiuto di un gustoso premio. Dexter ha bisogno di una casa con un giardino privato e sicuro con recinzione alta in modo che possa stare senza guinzaglio per girare e giocare. Dexter si calma abbastanza bene in casa e potrebbe essere lasciato fino a 2-4 ore, questo dovrà essere costruito gradualmente una volta che sarà abituato. Dexter dovrà conoscere i suoi adottanti diverse volte prima di andare a casa, quindi tenete presente questo quando fate domanda. Sono allegro e divertente, Dexter è un Kelpie incrociato Collie di 3 anni che ama molto il gioco del lancio. Gioca con orsacchiotti e altri giochi, ma se c'è una palla disponibile, il lancio è il miglior gioco mai! Lo adora tanto che potrebbe giocare tutto il giorno se potesse. Adora il gioco del "trova il tuo gioco" con i suoi giocattoli e se prendi fuori il flirt pole, sarà il tuo migliore amico per sempre! Può essere un ragazzo abbastanza indipendente, ma ama le attenzioni, gli piacciono particolarmente le carezze sulla testa e sulle spalle, si avvicinerà o salterà sul divano con te per averne di più. Questo fantastico e bel ragazzo è pronto a trovare la sua nuova casa!

Dexter is looking for a calm and predictable home in a quiet, rural area, with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures in quiet walking areas and will provide him with all the care and attention he deserves. He can live with sixth form/college aged children who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when needed. Dexter would like to be the only pet in the home so he can enjoy all of the attention to himself, he can be very worried by other dogs so would prefer to go on walks in quiet walking areas so he can explore in peace. He is a clever lad, he already has ‘sit’, 'touch', 'settle' and 'crate training' in the in the bag, he is also muzzled trained as he will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer for his prey drive. He is happy to learning more in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. Dexter needs a home with a private, secure garden with high fencing so he can have time off lead to potter around and play. Dexter settles quite nicely in the home and could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Dexter will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Fun loving lad Dexter is a 3 year old Kelpie cross Collie who really enjoys a game of fetch. He will play with teddies and other toys, but if there is a ball available then fetch is the best game ever! He loves it so much that he would play all day if he could. He loves to play a game of find its with his toys and if you get the flirt pole out he will be your best friend forever! He can be quite an independent boy, but does like a fuss, head and back scratches are his favourite, he will lean in or jump onto the sofa with you for more. This fantastic and handsome boy is ready to find his new home!
