Higins—a little dog with big ears and an even bigger to-do list of canine chores. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was terrified. He didn’t understand what was going on. But it didn’t take long—just a few calm walks and a bit of tender care—for him to show us his true self. Today, Higins is a little volcano of energy. On walks, he’s everywhere—sniffing, checking things out, observing, then zooming ahead because, after all, the world won’t explore itself! He’s got tons of tasks to tackle and not a moment to lose. And once he’s finished his important doggy duties, he happily comes running for petting, rolls over onto his back for tummy rubs, and reminds us that human contact is just as important to him as exploring the world. He’s still a puppy at heart—emotional, sensitive, and incredibly curious about life. He gets along great with other dogs, who help boost his confidence. He needs a home that understands that a young dog learns something new every single day—someone who’ll patiently teach him the rules, take good care of his needs, and let him mature at his own pace. We already know one thing: Higins is a dog you simply can’t help but fall in love with. Higins – mały pies z wielkimi uszami i jeszcze większą listą psich spraw do załatwienia. Kiedy trafił do schroniska, był przerażony. Nie rozumiał, co się dzieje. Wystarczyło jednak kilka spokojnych spacerów i trochę czułości, żeby pokazał nam swoje prawdziwe oblicze. Dziś Higins to mały wulkan energii. Na spacerach jest wszędzie – węszy, sprawdza, obserwuje, biegnie dalej, bo przecież świat sam się nie zwiedzi! Ma mnóstwo spraw do załatwienia i ani chwili do stracenia. A kiedy już skończy swoje ważne psie obowiązki, z radością przybiega po głaski, wystawia brzuch do miziania i przypomina, że kontakt z człowiekiem jest dla niego równie ważny jak odkrywanie świata. To wciąż psie dziecko. Emocjonalny, wrażliwy i bardzo ciekawy życia. Dobrze dogaduje się z innymi psami, które dodają mu odwagi. Potrzebuje domu, który zrozumie, że młody pies uczy się każdego dnia – cierpliwie pokaże mu zasady, zadba o jego potrzeby i pozwoli mu dojrzewać we własnym tempie.
