Wer Abby kennenlernt, spürt sofort, dass die dreijährige Hündin jedes Fünkchen Aufmerksamkeit unendlich dankbar aufnimmt. Wahrscheinlich hat sie bisher nicht allzu viel Zuneigung genießen dürfen. In einem Park nahe der Stadt Bistrita wurde Abby von aufmerksamen Menschen entdeckt und die süße Maus in Sicherheit gebracht. Sie war von der ersten Minute an voller Zutrauen und folgte ihren Rettern auf eine Pflegestelle. Dies kann jedoch nur eine Zwischenstation sein, denn Abby braucht ein verlässliches Zuhause und einen Lebensmensch bzw. eine Für-immer-Familie, um endlich zur Ruhe zu kommen und ein würdiges Hunde-Leben genießen zu dürfen. Abby besticht durch ihr liebe und freundliche Art. Aktuell orientiert sie sich an der Leine und versucht aufmerksam, neue Kommandos zu erlernen. Wir gehen davon aus, dass sich Jagdhund-Gene in ihr verstecken, was bedeutet, dass Abby einen hohen Bewegungs- und Beschäftigungsdrang aufweist sowie ausgeprägte Intelligenz und einen intensiven Jagdtrieb besitzt. Es sollte daher unbedingt darauf geachtet werden, dass Abby körperliche, aber auch geistige Herausforderungen, zum Beispiel Agility-Einheiten, erhält, um rundum glücklich zu werden. Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge sollten, vor allem während der ersten Monate, unbedingt an der Leine stattfinden. Die menschenbezogene und so zugewandte Abby kommt mit bestens Artgenossen aus. Ein souveräner Erst-Hund kann also gerne in der neuen Heimat auf sie warten. Ob sie auch Katzen sympathisch findet, wissen wir aktuell leider nicht. Da Abby eine verkürzte Rute hat, die vermutlich angeboren ist, darf sie leider nicht in die Schweiz einreisen. Gibst du Abby die Chance auf ein warmes, herzliches Zuhause? Ab Ende März ist ihr Koffer gepackt. Abby kann dann – geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt, entfloht und kastriert – nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit ihrem gültigem EU-Heimtierausweis direkt zu dir reisen.
