Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 12 years

The two sweet Dachshund ladies, Adela, born on 16.03.2018, and Rumba, born on 12.05.2015, are searching for a loving home where they can finally arrive. Both had a tough life so far and had to first go to the groomer and the vet to have their teeth fixed. Unfortunately, several teeth had to be removed, but this in no way affects them. Rumba also has mild arthritis in one leg and a mild lung noise, but both do not currently affect her joy in life or her everyday life. Adela and Rumba are two open, cheerful, and adventurous dogs who love to experience things and greatly enjoy the company of their people. Other dogs find them rather uninteresting, so they can get along well without other animal company. The two can be rehomed either together or separately, what is most important to us is that they find a home where they can start their second life with love, affection, and joy. Adela and Rumba are not rehomed to children under 12 years old because they need a quieter environment. We do not know how they react to cats – as Dachshunds are hunting dogs, a combination with cats would likely be difficult. Adela and Rumba wish for people who will give them time, build their trust, and show them how wonderful a dog life can be. Those who want to give two charming Dachshund ladies a warm, loving home will be rewarded with much gratitude, joy in life, and faithful companions. Adela and Rumba 14 05 26 Adela & Rumba is vaccinated, microchipped, and rehomed – one per dog. We thank you for your understanding if the processing of your request takes a little longer. We will do our best to respond as soon as possible.

About Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣

What life with Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 looks like

Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzbund Basel Regional.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzbund Basel Regional handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzbund Basel Regional will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzbund Basel Regional early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adele & Rumba – klein aber OHO🫣 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
