Archie must first learn that people mean well by him 🐾💛 Archie has lived on the street for a long time and was previously chained. No one really took care of him. No wonder he is initially wary of people. He is anxious and needs time. If something gets too close, he makes it clear and warns. So far, he hasn't bitten. He can be reached with treats - and he really wants to be petted. He just needs to learn to trust them. Rehabilitation has begun at the shelter. Archie is slowly making progress and becoming more and more trusting and open each day. Nevertheless, he needs people who can give him this time and take his signals seriously. We don't see him with a toddler. An older, sensible child is more suitable. Archie is ready to leave his old life behind. Now he just needs someone to show him how beautiful a home can be. Kein Wunder, dass er Menschen erst einmal mit Vorsicht begegnet. Er ist ängstlich und braucht Zeit. Wenn ihm etwas zu nah kommt, zeigt er das auch deutlich und warnt. Dabei hat er bisher nicht gebissen. Mit Leckerlis lässt er sich gut erreichen – und Streicheleinheiten möchte er eigentlich unbedingt. Er muss nur noch lernen, dass er ihnen vertrauen darf. Im Tierheim hat seine Rehabilitation begonnen. Archie macht langsam Fortschritte und wird von Tag zu Tag zutraulicher und offener. Trotzdem braucht er Menschen, die ihm diese Zeit auch geben und seine Signale ernst nehmen. Für ein Kleinkind sehen wir ihn nicht. Ein älteres, verständiges Kind können wir uns dagegen vorstellen. Archie ist bereit, sein altes Leben hinter sich zu lassen. Jetzt fehlt ihm nur noch jemand, der ihm zeigt, wie schön ein eigenes Zuhause sein kann.
