Arres is a male of the German Shepherd type, with beautiful black fur. Although he is already a senior (born before 2016), he still has a lot of strength and the desire to accompany a person in their daily life. This dog is very friendly towards people, loving contact with the caregiver and his presence. He walks nicely on a leash and is eager to go for walks, but due to his build and strength, he needs someone who can handle a large dog. He feels best when he can be close to a person and participate in their daily activities. Most of his life, Arres spent as a yard dog, though he was also in the house at times. Therefore, an ideal place for him would be a home with a yard, where he can freely use the outdoor space while also having the opportunity to stay close to his people. We are not looking for a place where he would be alone watching over the property, as Arres most needs the presence and attention of a person. He does not tolerate cats, so he should live in a home without feline residents. His relationship with other dogs is currently unknown and requires prior checking. After years of living, which were not always easy, Arres deserves a peaceful, safe home and people who will show him that the best is yet to come. He is a faithful, calm companion who will repay the chance given to him with his devotion and presence. Since spring 2026, Arres has been at our shelter. Not suitable for homes with cats.

Arres to samiec w typie owczarka niemieckiego, o pięknej czarnej sierści. Choć jest już seniorem (urodzony 2018), to nadal ma w sobie sporo siły i chęci do towarzyszenia człowiekowi w codziennym życiu. To pies bardzo przyjazny wobec ludzi, lubiący kontakt z opiekunem i jego obecność opiekuna. Ładnie chodzi na smyczy i chętnie spaceruje, jednak ze względu na swoją posturę i siłę potrzebuje osoby, która poradzi sobie z dużym (38 kg) psem. Najlepiej czuje się wtedy, gdy może być blisko człowieka i uczestniczyć w jego codziennych aktywnościach. Większość swojego życia Arres spędził jako pies podwórkowy, choć bywał również w domu. Dlatego idealnym miejscem będzie dla niego dom z ogrodem, gdzie będzie mógł swobodnie korzystać z przestrzeni na zewnątrz, a jednocześnie mieć możliwość przebywania blisko swoich ludzi.
