Aruś – the essence of delicacy, fragility. As if expressing with his whole being that he very much needs a person, very much needs support. He is a small, extremely sensitive dog who blossoms beautifully when someone devotes time to him. Since he arrived at the animal shelter, he has made great progress. At first so very frightened, he finally bestowed upon us his trust and joyfully greets volunteers. He is drawn to people, is thirsty for closeness, allows gentle petting and slowly, the touch of a human stops troubling him. He walks beautifully on a leash, he simply loves sniffing – he must check every patch of grass – and takes great joy in time spent outside the animal shelter. During meetings with other dogs, he is usually curious. However, the animal shelter is simply too difficult a place for him to fully blossom. Terrible noise, constant tension, unceasing alertness, permanent stress. Aruś cannot rest from this noise, this tension that accompanies him in the shelter box, he cannot feel truly safe. He needs so much peace, a warm corner, and someone understanding, who will always consider him important. It's our deepest hope that Aruś will finally feel completely safe and loved. That he can fall asleep in peace and wake up without fear. We dream that this year someone will come along and say: "Come on, Arusi, we're going home together." Aruś is waiting. Maybe just for you?

Aruś – esencja delikatności, kruchości. Jakby całym sobą mówił, że bardzo potrzebuje człowieka, bardzo potrzebuje wsparcia. To drobny, niezwykle wrażliwy pies, który najpiękniej rozkwita wtedy, gdy ktoś poświęci mu czas. Odkąd trafił do schroniska, zrobił ogromne postępy. Na początku tak bardzo przerażony, w końcu obdarzył nas zaufaniem i wylewnie cieszy się na widok wolontariuszy. Ciągnie go do ludzi, jest spragniony bliskości, pozwala na delikatne głaskanie i powoli dotyk człowieka przestaje go stresować. Pięknie spaceruje na smyczy, wprost kocha węszenie – musi sprawdzić każdą kępkę trawy – i czerpie ogromną radość z czasu spędzonego poza schroniskiem. Podczas spotkań z innymi psami z reguły jest zaciekawiony. Jednak schronisko to dla niego po prostu zbyt trudne miejsce, aby mógł w pełni rozkwitnąć. Potworny hałas, ciągłe napięcie, nieustanna czujność, permanentny stres. Aruś nie może wypocząć od tego zgiełku, tego napięcia, które towarzyszą mu w schroniskowym boksie, nie może poczuć się naprawdę bezpiecznie. Tak bardzo potrzebuje spokoju, ciepłego kąta i kogoś wyrozumiałego, dla kogo już zawsze będzie ważny. Tak bardzo marzy nam się, aby Aruś wreszcie poczuł się w pełni bezpieczny i kochany. By mógł zasypiać w spokoju i budzić się bez lęku. Marzy nam się, że w tym roku wreszcie zjawi się ktoś, kto powie: „Chodź, Arusiu, wracamy razem do domu”. Aruś czeka. Może właśnie na Ciebie?
