Asteria is a timid female dog who came to the shelter from Animal Shelter Kocham Psisko. Her life so far was probably very limited – Asteria arrived at our shelter as a female dog "closed off from the world", for whom everything new was a source of great fear. Today, thanks to the work of the caretakers, she is slowly starting to stick her nose out of her shell. In the shelter, Asteria has made great progress. Although new people still scare her, with a gentle and calm approach she allows herself to be known as a curious female dog who really wants contact. She is extremely food motivated (she loves treats!), which helps build trust. On walks she does not pull, she walks slowly and passionately enjoys sniffing. In interactions with other animals, she is a model of calmness – she treats both dogs and cats with gentle indifference. In a room with dog roommates, she feels safe and comfortably shares the space with them. We are looking for a home for Asterii that understands the needs of a fearful dog and will give her as much time as she needs. She is an ideal candidate for someone who can read a dog's body language and respects the moments when the female dog says "stop". Asteria needs a calm guide who will lead her on the right path and show her that the world is not so scary. Asteria to subtelna sunia, która do Azylu trafiła ze schroniska Kocham Psisko. Jej życie do tej pory było prawdopodobnie bardzo ograniczone – Asteria przyjechała do nas jako sunia „zamknięta na świat”, dla której wszystko, co nowe, było źródłem ogromnego lęku. Dziś, dzięki pracy opiekunów, powoli zaczyna wystawiać nos ze swojej skorupy. W Azylu Asteria poczyniła ogromne postępy. Choć nowe osoby wciąż ją przerażają, przy delikatnym i spokojnym podejściu daje się poznać jako sunia ciekawska, która bardzo chce kontaktu. Jest niezwykle łasa na jedzenie (płucka to jej słabość!), co świetnie pomaga w budowaniu zaufania. Na spacerach nie ciągnie, idzie powoli i z pasją oddaje się węszeniu. W relacjach z innymi zwierzętami jest wzorem spokoju – zarówno psy, jak i koty traktuje z łagodną obojętnością. W pokoju z psimi współlokatorami czuje się bezpiecznie i bezproblemowo dzieli z nimi przestrzeń. Szukamy dla Asterii domu, który rozumie potrzeby psa lękowego i da jej tyle czasu, ile będzie potrzebowała. To idealna kandydatka dla kogoś, kto potrafi czytać psią mowę ciała i uszanuje momenty, w których sunia mówi „stop”.
