Mixed Breed · Unknown

Aura originally came from a seizure in Barcelona and was then brought to a German animal shelter, where she was taken into our care. Aura is a very friendly, loving, and people-oriented lady dog. She also gets along well with fellow animals. Due to her background, she still needs a bit of dog ABC training. Aura hasn't experienced much love and affection in her previous life, so she needs caring, patient people, and ideally, dog-experienced individuals (preferably with Great Dane experience) who can meet her needs, ideally by attending dog training classes with her and helping her perfect the dog ABC. Aura is vaccinated, microchipped, and up for adoption. If you are interested in our dogs and would like to meet her without obligation, please apply using the button below, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding if the processing of your inquiry takes a little longer. We strive to give you a response as soon as possible, but it may happen that we receive many inquiries at once or that our resources are temporarily needed elsewhere.

DE·Show original

What life with Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden looks like

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

How do I contact the shelter about Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzbund Basel Regional handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzbund Basel Regional will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzbund Basel Regional early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aura – hat im August 2019 ein neues Zuhause gefunden and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
