IMPORTANT: We pay for our branch dogs to be cared for at RSPCA Lancs East animal centre. Barney is a ten-year-old boy who’s looking for a nice, calm home where he can relax and enjoy life. He would need to be an only dog in his new home, and children over ten years old would be a good match for him. Barney loves his walks but does prefer shorter walks; slow and steady wins the race! He isn’t a fan of dogs getting too close to him when he’s on walks, and if a dog barks at him, he will have a little bark back too. So long as he has his own personal space, he’s fine. Barney will need some help with his house training, but he is very food-motivated, and we can offer help, support, and advice on this. He would love a home where his owners are around most of the time to keep him company, as he’s not a fan of being left on his own. If you are looking for a loyal companion who loves a gentle walk, a comfy bed, and a full snack jar, this little gent could be your new best friend.
