At home, he is housebroken, calm, and likes to be in his crate. For Basil, we are looking for an experienced and stable owner, without children or other animals, in a quiet environment. A life in the city would give him too many stimuli. He does not tolerate other dogs and cats well, so a single placement is best for him. Medically, Basil gets a pill every day, Apoquel, for his skin allergy, and is washed every few weeks with a special shampoo. Wanneer Basil spanning ervaart of iets te veel wordt, kan hij reageren door te blaffen of uit te vallen. Dit gedrag komt voort uit onzekerheid en angst, niet uit kwaadheid.
