adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Blume has found its home! 91166 Georgensmünd. Blume is waiting in her foster home for you! Her story: Busag, Romania. Dandy, Chayenne, Blume, Arwen, and Indy – these are the wonderful puppy children of our Florentine. They currently live in Busag, Romania, and are searching for their forever homes! The little Blume proves it to us all: Black is beautiful! But not only is she incredibly cute, she also has a great personality. Friendly, curious, and playful. Blume is currently about 3-4 months old and we assume she will stay small. Blume is looking for people who won't have too many expectations of her and will show her how a normal dog life works. She is still a baby and has a lot to learn. One or two mishaps shouldn't be held against her, and Blume should always be guided with a positive reinforcement training style. She is looking forward to her new life with beautiful nature walks, lots of snuggling, and also a visit to the puppy school. In the first year of life, puppies should be with their owners as much as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of these little rascals upside down. They "forget" much of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important during this phase to consistently – but lovingly – train. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Our delicate Blume is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings her EU pet passport with her and can be transported after a positive our area. Ziehst du unsere Blume groß and give her a wonderful life? Many thanks, Charlotte B.! You gave Chayenne her name and thus her identity!

About Blume

What life with Blume looks like

Blume is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Blume, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Blume?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Blume on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Blume if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Blume already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Blume isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Blume and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
