Hello, my name is Bobo. I ended up at DOA after I was found alone on the street. Unfortunately, no one has ever come forward for me… Now I hope that somewhere there is a wonderful home waiting for me where I can finally find peace. I am a loving and calm dog, but sometimes a bit shy. At first, I can find strangers a bit intimidating. Luckily, with a few tasty snacks, I am soon on my way, and once I trust you, I show more and more of my soft and cozy side. I love coming close for attention and, of course, cuddles, which I am really fond of. Walking is my favorite. I like to walk with my nose on the ground, enjoying all the scents. A new environment can sometimes be a bit daunting. Then I seek support from my familiar person by sitting snuggly next to you. Once I feel safe, I start to explore more on my own. Playing with toys like a ball or a frisbee is not really my thing. You might see other dogs enthusiastically running behind them, but I prefer to spend my time differently. What I really enjoy are cuddles and being cozy together. Lying close to you or being gently stroked is much more to my liking than chasing after toys. With other dogs, I am unfortunately not a universal friend. I do not need doggy friends, and playing with other dogs is not my cup of tea. On the street, I can sometimes react when another dog comes too close. Luckily, I am a smart boy who is already well-trained. With supervision and a few treats, I can ignore other dogs and walk calmly. Therefore, it is important that my new owner continues to guide me and provide clear, calm support.

Hoi, mijn naam is Bobo Ik ben bij DOA terechtgekomen nadat ik alleen op straat ben gevonden. Helaas is er nooit iemand voor mij gekomen… Nu hoop ik dat er ergens een fijn thuis op mij wacht waar ik eindelijk helemaal tot rust mag komen. Ik ben een lieve en rustige hond, maar soms ook een beetje verlegen. Vooral vreemde mensen kunnen ik in het begin spannend vinden. Gelukkig ben ik met een paar lekkere snacks al snel om en zodra ik je vertrouw laat ik steeds meer van mijn zachte en gezellige kant zien. Dan kom ik graag dichtbij voor aandacht en natuurlijk knuffels, daar ben ik echt dol op. Wandelen vind ik heerlijk. Het liefst loop ik lekker met mijn neus over de grond zodat ik alle geurtjes goed kan ontdekken. Een nieuwe omgeving vind ik soms nog wel spannend. Dan zoek ik eerst even steun bij mijn vertrouwde persoon door gezellig naast je te komen zitten. Als ik me veilig voel, durf ik daarna steeds meer zelf op onderzoek uit te gaan. Spelen met speelgoed zoals een bal of flostouw is niet echt aan mij besteed. Andere honden zie je daar misschien enthousiast achteraan rennen, maar ik besteed mijn tijd liever anders. Waar ik namelijk écht van geniet, zijn knuffels en gezellig samen zijn. Even dicht tegen je aan liggen of lekker geaaid worden vind ik veel fijner dan achter speelgoed aanrennen. Met andere honden ben ik helaas geen allemansvriend. Ik hoef geen hondenvriendjes en spelen met andere honden vind ik niet leuk. Op straat kan ik soms uitvallen wanneer een andere hond te dichtbij komt. Gelukkig ben ik wel een slimme jongen die al best netjes is getraind. Met begeleiding en wat lekkers kan ik andere honden heel goed negeren en rustig meelopen. Het is daarom belangrijk dat mijn nieuwe baas mij hierin blijft begeleiden en duidelijke, rustige ondersteuning geeft.
