adoption requirements adoption process Adopt now this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Boomie can stay forever in her foster home! 74182 Affaltrach. Boomie is waiting in her foster home for you! Her story: Bistrita, Romania. The lives of Boomie, Yuma, Raven, and Mayli began on shaky legs! The four puppies were picked up by our helpers on the streets of Romania, where they were left and wandered around without a mother. Even though the little puppy siblings are now safe from cars and people, they all eagerly await their ticket to a new forever home! Boomie is a little whirlwind with cute, fluffy ears and a gleaming black coat. At just three months old, she is a curious puppy girl eager to explore the world around her. Her fearless spirit and lively nature make her a true heartbreaker. When fully grown, Boomie is expected to be small to medium-sized. Boomie is social, friendly, and always open to new people and situations. But even though she has a lot to offer, there is still much to learn. Whether house training, leash manners, or obedience training, Boomie is looking for people who will first give her nothing to expect and show her step by step how a beautiful dog life can look. Puberty also stands at the door for Boomie, a time full of changes and challenges. It is important that her future people navigate her through this phase with loving consistency so that the little mouse can grow into a confident lady. But with enough support, nothing stands in the way of her becoming a loyal companion. Boomie would be thrilled about a visit to a dog or puppy class. After a positive assessment, she will be microchipped, dewormed, and equipped with an EU pet passport. She would also be thrilled about a loving foster home! Has Boomie managed to make your heart beat a little faster? We look forward to your inquiry! Many thanks, Janine! You have named Boomie! As of: 07.03.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Boomie darf für immer in seiner Pflegestelle bleiben! 74182 Affaltrach. Vielen Dank Janine! Du hast Boomie ihren Namen geschenkt! Stand: 07.03.2024

About Boomie

What life with Boomie looks like

Boomie is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Boomie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Boomie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Boomie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Boomie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Boomie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Boomie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Boomie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
