Wij zijn Billy en Boris. Broers ( tja, zie je het?), onafscheidelijk en op zoek naar een thuis waar we samen mogen blijven. We wonen tijdelijk in het kattencafé in Tongeren! Ik ben Billy. Grote kans dat je mij als eerste ziet. En als je mij niet ziet, dan zorg ik er persoonlijk voor dat je mij nooit vergeet. Ik ben nieuwsgierig, stap zonder aarzelen op mensen af en en wil alles weten, ook wat je in je handtas hebt. Een spelletje? YEP. Aandacht? CHECK. Nieuwe bezoekers? Here I am!Ik ben het slimste jongetje van de klas en zeer creatief. Ik kan verbanden leggen, onthouden, rekenen, en heb een neus voor lekker eten. De mensen in het kattencafé gaan altijd met een glimlach naar huis. Maar ze zeggen dat ik kordaat personeel nodig heb ofzo? Heeft iets te maken met taart. Ze weten inmiddels dat ze hun stukje taart beter niet onbeheerd laten liggen. Ik moet nog leren dat niet alles wat lekker ruikt ook echt voor mij is. Met een personeelslid dat mij daar rustig in begeleidt, komt dat vast helemaal goed. En ik ben Boris.De kans is groot dat je mij niet meteen ziet. Ik kijk eerst graag even hoe jij bent. Vanuit een veilige afstand bekijk ik alles rustig. Pas als ik merk dat het goed zit, kom ik zelf kennismaken met mijn zorro masker. Alleen de cape ontbreekt nog. En geloof me, dat wachten is de moeite waard. Ik ben een lieve, speelse jongen die graag bij je in de buurt is. Ik hoef alleen niet steeds als eerste op de voorgrond te staan. Dat laat ik met alle liefde aan Billy over. In het kattencafé vermaken we ons top. We spelen samen, rennen achter elkaar aan, soms een broerdiscussie, zoeken de gezelligheid op en we zijn een beetje Yin en Yang. We houden elkaar in balans. Ik zeg Billy wel eens: "Maar jongen, als je geen snoepje krijgt, hoef je toch niet met de zak te gaan lopen?" Maar hoe fijn we het hier ook hebben, we dromen allebei van een eigen thuis. Een plek waar we samen kunnen opgroeien, waar we alle ruimte hebben om te spelen, te ontdekken en daarna tevreden naast elkaar in slaap te vallen. Omdat we nog jong zijn en veel energie hebben, zoeken we een huis met voldoende ruimte. Een klein appartement is niet cool voor ons.We zijn er echt aan toe om ons te settelen. Het glas is altijd half vol, het huis raakt gevuld met warmte en ontroering, elke dag hebben we een blije muts op.En kusjes en omhelzingen horen daar OOK bij! Dus, kom je eens af? Kopje koffie met mij Billy op je schoot? In kattencafe Tongeren? En daarna zeg je: Ja jongens, ik ga jullie adopteren? Ja?Knuffels!!
