Brunoh *20

Mixed Breed · Female

Country of origin: Romania Breed: Mixed breed Gender: Male, neutered Color: Black-and-white Shoulder height: approx. 50 cm Date of birth: approx. 2023/2024 Location: Romania Brunoh is a young male dog who, despite his age, already carries several challenges with him. In particular, his teeth are in very poor condition and urgently require attention. In situations where he feels threatened or insecure, he reacts by snapping or barking loudly. Usually, he does this to create distance and protect himself. With other dogs, Brunoh generally gets along well. He shows little interest in treats, making it not easy to gain his trust through food alone. Behind his behavior lies a young dog who has not experienced much security so far and needs time to build trust. It’s sad to see that Brunoh is already facing such challenges at his young age. He deserves people who understand him, give him patience, and show him that the world can also be friendly and reliable. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (against rabies and with two basic vaccinations), chipped, and equipped with an EU pet passport. They are tested—at our expense (we cover the laboratory fees)—for common Mediterranean diseases: babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsiosis, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, and anaplasmosis. They are placed for adoption only after a positive preliminary check (home visit) and against a protection fee, accompanied by a protection contract. Important documents: Self-disclosure form for adopters Self-disclosure form for foster homes *The information provided about the dogs (especially those still in Romania) is given without guarantee. The records reflect snapshots only. The dogs were documented by volunteer helpers to the best of their knowledge and belief. Therefore, discrepancies may occur regarding age, size, gender, health, and even behavior. We are an active alliance partner! Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V.

About Brunoh *20

What life with Brunoh *20 looks like

Brunoh *20 is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. in Oberwies.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Brunoh *20, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Brunoh *20?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Brunoh *20 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Brunoh *20 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Brunoh *20 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Brunoh *20 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Brunoh *20 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
