Her story: Burga, an extraordinary female dog with an extraordinary name. Burga was a mother to 3 puppies, taking care of them with great affection. All are now grown up, and it's time for the wonderful Burga to find loving people who will take care of her! The wonderful Burga has a very friendly nature and has already wrapped the helpers at the shelter around her paws. She loves to snuggle and is always happy when someone stops by her kennel and gives her a few minutes of their time. Burga has a medium size of about 48-50 cm and weighs around 20 kg. However, there is a small obstacle to overcome in the search for a family. Burga is a list dog, likely an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. This means she falls into category 1 on the so-called Rasseliste in Germany, and it is not allowed for her to be exported to Germany. She can, however, be rehomed to Sweden, Belgium, or some cantons in Switzerland. AmStaffs are known to be strong-willed dogs with a high energy drive and thus require both physical and mental stimulation. They seek people who can lead them with love, but also consistency and sovereignty. AmStaffs have a playful nature and are highly intelligent, making them eager to learn. They are suitable for many different roles, such as in dog sports, working environments, or as companion dogs. AmStaffs are very sensitive dogs and are better suited for dog-experienced owners who can meet the physical and psychological needs of their four-legged friend and do them justice. Additionally, Burga should be given some time to settle in. We don't know if she has ever lived in a house, so she needs time and patience. Even in the Hunde-ABC class, she will still need some extra help, but since Burga is very smart and eager to learn, the sweet mouse will have discovered everything in a flash. Ihre Geschichte: Burga, eine außergewöhnliche Hündin mit einem außergewöhnlichen Namen. Burga war Mutter von 3 Welpen, um die sie sich liebevoll gekümmert hat. Alle sind mittlerweile erwachsen und langsam wird es Zeit, dass die tolle Burga Menschen findet, die sich liebevoll um sie kümmern! Die tolle Burga hat ein sehr freundliches Wesen und hat die Helfer:innen vor Ort auch bereits geschickt um ihre Pfoten gewickelt. Sie kuschelt für ihr Leben gerne und freut sich jedesmal, wenn jemand an ihrem Zwinger stehen bleibt und ihr ein paar Minuten seiner Zeit schenkt. Burga hat eine schöne mittlere Größe von etwa 48-50 cm und ein Gewicht von ca. 20 kg. Auf der Suche nach einer Familie gibt es aber ein kleines Hindernis zu überwinden. Burga ist ein Listenhund, vermutlich ein American-Staffordshire-Terrier-Mix. Das bedeutet, dass sie in Deutschland auf der sog. Rasseliste in die Kategorie 1 fällt und es uns nicht erlaubt ist, sie nach Deutschland ausreisen zu lassen. Sie kann aber nach Schweden, Belgien oder einige Kantone in der Schweiz vermittelt werden. AmStaffs gelten als charakterstarke Hunde, die einen hohen Bewegungsdrang haben und somit sowohl körperlich, aber auch geistig ausgelastet werden wollen. Sie suchen Menschen, die sie liebevoll, aber auch konsequent und souverän führen können. AmStaffs haben ein verspieltes Wesen und sind hochintelligent und somit lernwillig. Sie eignen sich für viele Einsatzmöglichkeiten wie z.B. im Hundesport, Arbeitsbereichen oder auch als Begleithunde. AmStaffs sind sehr sensible Hunde und eignen sich eher für hundeerfahrene Halter, die auf die physischen und psychischen Bedürfnisse ihres Vierbeiners eingehen und ihnen gerecht werden können. Außerdem sollte man Burga auch zunächst einmal ganz in Ruhe ankommen lassen. Wir wissen nicht, ob sie das Leben im Haus überhaupt kennt, daher braucht sie etwas Zeit und Geduld. Auch beim Hunde-ABC wird sie noch Nachhilfe benötigen, aber da Burga sehr schlau und lernwillig ist, wird die süße Maus das alles in windeseile für sich entdeckt haben. Burga hat die Kindheit und Pubertät bereits hinter sich gelassen, die richtige Zeit um nochmal neu durchzustarten. Burga reist gechipt, kastriert, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit ihrem EU-Heimtierausweis im Gepäck. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann sie gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt werden.
