His story: Champ had already found a home and was very loved. Unfortunately, his owner is severely ill and can no longer care for him. On an emergency basis, Champ had to move into a foster home and is now searching for a quiet, comfortable home for a few more beautiful years. Currently, we know very little about Champ. He is social with other dogs and suffers from a food allergy. There is contact with his previous vet, and the type of food is known. Further details must still be awaited and tested. According to the description, Champ has a prey drive and should therefore not be rehomed with cats. Champ does not like to have veterinary treatments. For these cases, Champ knows and accepts a muzzle. Champ cannot stay alone at the moment – there is another dog at the foster home. It must be shown whether he will better accept being alone through this. Many thanks to Sarah, who, through her quick and courageous intervention, saved Champ from placement in an animal shelter or a pension and offered him a temporary private home. Sarah is now getting to know Champ better and can then report more about his personality. Upon appointment, Champ can be visited in his foster home. Champ is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He can stay if you meet all the requirements and can offer Champ a safe home for a few beautiful final years. As of: 20.03.

Seine Geschichte: Champ hatte sein Zuhause bereits gefunden und wurde sehr geliebt. Leider ist sein Frauchen schwer erkrankt und kann nicht mehr für ihn sorgen. Notfallmäßig musste Champ in eine Notfall-Pflegestelle umziehen und sucht von dort aus nun ein ruhiges, gemütliches Zuhause für ein paar letzte schöne Jahre. Aktuell wissen wir leider nicht viel über Champ. Er ist sozialverträglich mit anderen Hunden und leidet an einer Futtermittelallergie. Es besteht Kontakt zum bisherigen Tierarzt und auch die Futtermittel-Sorte ist bekannt. Alles weitere muss noch abgewartet und ausprobiert werden. Laut Beschreibung besitzt Champ Jagdtrieb und sollte daher eher nicht zu Katzen vermittelt werden. Tierärztliche Behandlungen lässt er sich nicht so gerne gefallen. Für diese Fälle kennt und akzeptiert Champ einen Maulkorb. Champ kann aktuell nicht allein bleiben – auf der Pflegestelle gibt es einen anderen Hund. Es muss sich noch zeigen, ob er dadurch das allein sein besser akzeptiert. Vielen Dank an Sarah, die durch ihr schnelles und beherztes Eingreifen Champ vor der Unterbringung im Tierheim oder einer Pension bewahrt hat und ihm ein privates Zuhause auf Zeit bietet. Sarah lernt Champ nun besser kennen und kann dann bald mehr über sein Wesen berichten. Nach Terminvereinbarung kann Champ gerne in seiner Pflegestelle besucht werden. Champ ist kastriert, gechipt und geimpft. Er kann nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle ohne Schutzgebühr an einen Gnadenplatz vermittelt werden. Wenn du alle Voraussetzungen mitbringst und Champ ein sicheres Zuhause für ein paar schöne letzte Jahre bieten möchtest, dann melde dich sehr gerne bei uns. Stand: 20.03.2026
