Update: Charly is currently in a training facility in NRW and must also be visited there. Please contact us if you can arrange visits there and want to give Charly a chance. Charly was originally secured due to a violation of the Animal Protection Law. He must have experienced something terrible. Although we do not know the specifics, he showed all the signs of a deeply traumatized dog who expresses his fear outwardly upon arrival. Unfortunately, biting incidents have also occurred in the past. It takes a long time for Charly to build trust with a human, so several visits will be necessary for getting to know him. Since his move to the training facility in NRW, however, Charly has undergone a nearly 180-degree turn; he is open to new experiences, interested in humans, and also gets along well with a few selected dogs. Charly can be very well motivated with food, but he should not be pressured or "snuggled" too much. We are looking for dog-experienced people who are familiar with dealing with difficult dogs to take Charly in. In his new home, he needs a lot of peace and a separate room to retreat to. Children are not suitable for his household, but he would probably not mind a nice female dog by his side. Update: Charly befindet sich aktuell in einer Trainingseinrichtung in NRW und muss auch dort besucht werden. Bitte wenden Sie sich an uns, wenn Sie die Besuche dort einrichten können und unserem Charly eine Chance bieten möchten. Charly wurde ursprügnlich wegen Verstoß gegen das Tierschutzgesetz sichergestellt. Er muss Schlimmes mitgemacht haben. Was genau, ist uns nicht bekannt, aber er zeigte bei Ankunft alle Anzeichen eines tief traumatisierten Hundes, der seine Angst nach vorn umsetzt. In der Vergangenheit kam es leider auch schon zu Bissvorfällen. Es braucht lange, bis Charly Vertrauen zu einem Menschen gefasst hat, daher werden zum Kennenlernen einige Besuche nötig sein. Seit seinem Umzug in die Trainingspension nach NRW hat sich Charly jedoch um fast 180 °C gedreht, er ist offen für Neues, am Menschen interessiert und auch nach Sympathie mit einigen ausgewählten Hunden schon gut verträglich. Mit Futter lässt sich Charly sehr gut motivieren, bedrängen und „durchkuscheln“ sollte man ihn jedoch nicht. Für Charly suchen wir hundeerfahrene Menschen, die sich mit schwierigeren Hunden auskennen. In seinem neuen Zuhause braucht er viel Ruhe und einen separaten Raum zum Zurückziehen. Kinder im Haushalt sind nichts für ihn, gegen eine nette Hündin an seiner Seite hätte er jedoch vermutlich nichts einzuwenden.
