In early July 2024, Claudio came to us after being found in 5152 Michaelbeuern. The poor little one was completely emaciated, not neutered, not microchipped, and estimated to be around 3–5 years old. Claudio had open, bloody paws and was very aggressive due to the intense pain. Additionally, he suffers from a spinal and nerve injury in the lower back, just before the tail, which makes him very sensitive. Due to this nerve damage at the tail base, he is no longer stroppable, although he is very cuddly. He requires long-term pain medication once a month to be comfortable. Moreover, Claudio battles with a chronic eye infection. He is compatible with other cats but requires a secure roam to explore his surroundings safely. Due to his injury, he is generally not treatable without anesthesia. Thanks to the loving care here, Claudio has found trust and now allows gentle stroking, even stroking our legs gently. 🐱❤️ ✨ Claudios' wishes: A quiet home with experienced cat people who are patient and understanding, a secure roam in a safe environment 🌿 Sensitive companionship during his special medical situation. Anfang Juli 2024 kam Claudio zu uns, nachdem er in 5152 Michaelbeuern gefunden wurde. Der arme Bub war damals komplett verwahrlost, nicht kastriert, nicht gechipt und wird auf etwa 3–5 Jahre geschätzt. Claudio hatte offene, blutige Pfoten und war aufgrund der starken Schmerzen sehr aggressiv. Zusätzlich leidet er an einer Verletzung der Wirbel und Nerven im unteren Rücken bis kurz vor dem Schwanz, die ihn sehr empfindlich macht. Deshalb ist er durch diese Nervenschädigung an der Schwanzbasis nicht mehr streichelbar, obwohl er sehr verschmust ist. Er benötigt einmal im Monat Langzeitschmerzmittel, um gut klarzukommen. Außerdem kämpft Claudio mit einer chronischen Augenentzündung. Er ist verträglich mit anderen Katzen, benötigt aber einen gesicherten Freigang, damit er sicher seine Umgebung erkunden kann. Aufgrund seiner Verletzung ist er generell ohne Narkose nicht behandelbar.
