Clooney

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 5 years

Compatible with other animals? Can be alone for some hours? Vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed: yes Clooney – his heart is broken… Clooney mourns his partner Caya… So much so that at first he only retreated into a dark corner of a hut, wouldn't eat, and didn't participate in life. This has improved somewhat. Once, he and Caya were rescued from a kill list… It was clear that the two beautiful Scarplaneac herd protection dogs could only be rehomed together. This no longer happened – Caya suddenly fell dead in mid-May 25… Clooney was left alone and no longer understands the world… We wish so much that he could soon leave the place of the sad event… A home or even a foster home with people who are familiar with his breed and can provide an appropriate dog life. Clooney is calm, peaceful, and gets along well with children. Empathy and a garden/property should be available. Who would like to give him a chance? We would be happy to provide more information. Please get in touch with Clooney and we look forward to your inquiries. Contact:

About Clooney

What life with Clooney looks like

Clooney is an adult mixed breed animal waiting at Tierschutz Celle in Celle.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Clooney far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting Clooney, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Clooney?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz Celle handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Clooney on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Clooney if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierschutz Celle what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Clooney already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierschutz Celle directly what is included and what Clooney still needs.
What happens if Clooney isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz Celle early rather than rehoming privately; they know Clooney and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
