Coffee

Pomeranian Β· Female Β· Young Β· 3 years

Coffee is a loveable Pomeranian Cross who is looking for calm, quiet home. After arriving in our care pregnant and doing a wonderful job raising her puppies, all of her pups have now found homes of their own and it's finally Coffee's turn to be the centre of attention. Coffee has a playful side and loves having zoomies around the paddock. Once she's burned off some energy she is happy to settle in one of our offices. She likes to curl up on a lap or relax on a comfy bed. Coffee can sometimes be worried by unfamiliar people and may bark when she feels unsure. Because of this she is looking for patient and understanding new owners who are happy to take things at her pace and allow her time to build confidence. Once she knows people, she gets very excited to see them and is very wiggly! Due to her worry around strangers, Coffee will need a home with her own private and secure garden where she can exercise and enjoy herself without the pressures of busy public spaces. She could potentially live with another small to medium-sized dog who would enjoy a gentle play session but wouldn't be too overwhelming for her. Coffee will make a fun, loyal companion for her new owners. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Coffee, you can e-mail our rehoming team on to register your interest.

About Coffee

What life with Coffee looks like

Coffee is a small young adult pomeranian dog waiting at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Coffee, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Coffee?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Coffee on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Coffee if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Coffee already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Coffee isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Coffee and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
