Dana – sensitive female dog seeks experienced, patient people. Dana is a ca. 7-year-old, rather large female dog, ca. 60 cm, who has lived as a long-term inmate in the shelter for over three years – without a single request. While other dogs come and go, Dana stays behind. Quiet, quiet, and unobtrusive. She endures her fate day by day without understanding why no one has chosen her. Dana is a quiet, sensitive, and shy female dog, but never aggressive. She shows herself to people very cautiously at first and needs time to build trust. With food, she can be well motivated. Closeness, petting, or walking on a leash are still unknown to her. Therefore, we are looking for Dana patient, experienced people who have no expectations but can convey security to her at her own pace. Despite the long time in the shelter, Dana makes small but important progress. Ihre Geschichte: Sieht mich jemand? Dana – sensible Hündin sucht erfahrene, geduldige Menschen. Dana ist eine ca. 7 Jahre alte, eher größere Hündin, ca. 60 cm, die seit über drei Jahren als Langzeitinsassin im Shelter lebt – ohne eine einzige Anfrage. Während andere Hunde kommen und gehen, bleibt Dana zurück. Still, leise und unauffällig. Sie erträgt ihr Schicksal Tag für Tag, ohne zu verstehen, warum niemand sie auswählt. Dana ist eine ruhige, sensible und schüchterne Hündin, dabei jedoch zu keiner Zeit aggressiv. Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie sich zunächst sehr vorsichtig und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Mit Futter lässt sie sich gut motivieren. Nähe, Streicheln oder das Laufen an der Leine kennt sie bislang kaum. Deshalb suchen wir für Dana geduldige, erfahrene Menschen, die keine Erwartungen haben, sondern ihr in ihrem eigenen Tempo Sicherheit vermitteln. Trotz der langen Zeit im Shelter macht Dana kleine, aber wichtige Fortschritte. Sie hat sich etwas geöffnet und nimmt inzwischen sogar Käse aus der Hand – ein großer Schritt für eine Hündin, die jahrelang gelernt hat, nichts zu erwarten. Mit anderen Hunden ist Dana sehr gut verträglich. Ein souveräner Ersthund im neuen Zuhause könnte ihr helfen, sich zu orientieren und Vertrauen zu entwickeln. Ob Dana katzenverträglich ist, kann leider nicht getestet werden. Vermutlich ist Dana ein Shar-Pei-Mix.
