Sadly, due to ongoing conflict with her litter sister, the girls can no longer safely live together and now need to be rehomed separately. Her family have made the heart-breaking decision to find Dott a home where she can feel secure and thrive as an individual. Dott can be an anxious girl, but once she feels safe, she is a gentle and loving companion. She adores cuddles and belly rubs, and is happiest curled up under a blanket or relaxing in the garden. She forms strong bonds with the people she trusts and will do best with a patient family who allow her to settle at her own pace. Dott can be wary of men and unfamiliar people and may bark until she has had the time to build trust. On walks, she may also bark at unfamiliar dogs. She could potentially live with a calm, confident, older male dog following careful introductions. Dott can currently be left for up to four hours and has free rein of the kitchen and living room. Because she is a sensitive girl, her new family will need to be around more often at first while she settles and slowly builds her confidence and independence. She is happy sleeping either on the sofa or in her own bed. She is in excellent health and simply needs a kind and patient home where she will be given time, reassurance and a calm routine.
