Her story begins sadly, but she is full of hope: Eloise was found by an unknown vet assistant out in the rain – alone, vulnerable, and with clear movement and balance issues. Since then, Eloise has been waiting at the vet's office for her chance to travel to a real home. Despite her tough start in life, she shows herself there as an open, playful, and lively young cat, exploring her surroundings curiously and enjoying the company of humans. She gets along well with fellow animals; whether she knows dogs, we have not been able to test yet. Due to her diagnosis, Eloise should only live in an apartment where she is safe and protected. A quiet home without much hustle and bustle would be ideal for her. It is possible that Eloise may show some unfamiliar or insecure behavior initially after her arrival – after all, the move means a big adjustment. With patience, understanding, and loving companionship, she will eventually settle in and gain trust. Eloise is looking for people with hearts who will give her the time she needs and show her that she is now in safety.
