Evolet

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Native Country: Hungary The beautiful and imposing Evolet unfortunately found its way to the animal shelter in Kecskemét on January 31, 2026. She ran into the care of a farm in the neighboring community of Lajosmizse, which then kindly informed the shelter. During the microchip check, no match was found, and no one responded to the calls on social media. Evolet shares the same fate as many shelter dogs, which, because they are no longer wanted, end up on the streets, and all of them have but one wish: to find their own people who will never leave them. We are crossing our fingers for Evolet that she will soon win her ticket to happiness. Evolet is ready for the adventure "new life." Evolet's gaze immediately captivates. She exudes a certain calm but also sadness. Evolet is a loving and friendly four-legged friend who adores humans and always seeks cuddles. Evolet has a lot of catch-up to do on human affection and love. She hasn't experienced much of the everyday things of life yet, but she is ready to make up for everything missed and her new people should patiently and lovingly teach her everything she still doesn't know. Of course, Evolet also still has to sit at the school bench a bit, but it will definitely be fun to work with this great female dog and spend time with her. Evolet wants to live on the land, and a garden would be advantageous. Currently, Evolet is not showing any territorial behavior in the animal shelter. Evolet gets along well with her fellow animals, but currently (March 12, 2026), she lives alone in a kennel. Now, we are looking for another dog with whom she could form a 2-person household. For our wonderful Evolet, we are searching for loving and dog-experienced people who love and value large and majestic dogs. Great two-leggeds who can keep Evolet dog-friendly, give her guidance, and offer her a varied and exciting life as a beloved family dog. Where she can go on adventures, where she finally receives all the love and care she probably hasn't experienced before, and where she can lead a happy and fulfilling life. Who can be Evolet's faithful friend? Evolet can travel starting from early to mid-April 2026 if she finds a home or a foster home.

DE·Show original

About Evolet

What life with Evolet looks like

Evolet is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Evolet, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Evolet?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Evolet on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Evolet if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Evolet already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Evolet isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Evolet and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
