Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl

Male · Puppy · 4 months

The waiting is over—over at last! On July 11, I’ll be able to travel to Hallein by transport, and I’ll have my very own compartment—all to myself! Is there anything nicer than escaping the sweltering heat of the Pannonian Plain? Either way, I’m thrilled that I’ll finally get to meet my own family! Together with Feri, my little brother, I was picked up in Mohács—well, actually, we were found, because we were just two tiny little pups with curly fur, and it was a real miracle that anyone even noticed us lying by the roadside. Now I’m only four months old, but I’m already quite the tough cookie—only the heat really gets me down. They say I won’t grow too big, maybe around 15 kilograms, and I’ve got a pure-white coat. But please don’t ask me what breed I am—I’m simply a Hungarian mixed-breed dog! In any case, I’m the more delicate-looking of the two of us: a bit smaller and beautifully pure white. Starting July 13, I’ll be at the animal shelter in Hallein, where you’re welcome to visit and get to know me anytime—best to arrange an appointment right away with Ms. Lochmann—phone number:

About Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl

What life with Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl looks like

Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl is a small puppy/kitten dog waiting at Tierheim Hallein in Hallein.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Hallein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Hallein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Hallein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fido - ein schneeweisser Kasperl and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
