adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Fina can travel directly to her own home! Her story: The enchanting little Fina is capturing hearts at record speed! At just 4 months old, full of joy and curiosity – but her world is small and dreary. No soft dog bed, no nature walks, no familiar hand that gives them security. After Fina and her siblings Ajoy, Selma, Lordi, Philippa, Marielle, Romy, Gemma, Duano, and Ori were abandoned together with their mother, they are temporarily living in a Romanian shelter, a place that unfortunately offers them neither warmth nor a future perspective. But this cannot be their destiny! These 10 siblings have so much love to give and already show that they are wonderful mini-personalities. Each of them brings their own little character – but all of them are approachable, lively, and simply irresistibly sweet and friendly. They love to play, are easily picked up, and munch happily from your hand, soaking up every bit of attention. With other dogs, they are exceptionally friendly, and they have not yet met any cats. The petite Fina is a perfect 10 when it comes to cuteness! With her dark fur, white chest spot, and charming white paw tips, she is simply unmistakable. We assume she will grow to be medium-sized and weigh around 20–25 kg. Her mother is a Labrador mix, which gives her excellent genes. Labradors are known for their cheerful, affectionate nature and high sociability – ideal family dogs that like to work closely with their people. What she inherits from her father remains a surprise, making mixed breeds like Fina true unicorns. For our Fina, we are looking for people who are aware of the responsibility of raising a puppy and are ready to guide her with lots of time, patience, and understanding as she grows into an adult. You should teach her everything she needs for her life and integrate her into your everyday life. The upcoming puberty also needs to be tackled together. Breed-wise, Fina fits perfectly for active people who value her as a loyal and cherished part of their family and can provide her with an adventurous life by their side. She will need both physical and mental challenges – dog sports could be a great way to offer her additional variety and fun. But quiet moments must not be lacking, because cuddles are her biggest reward. She is still not spayed due to its age. Who is ready to pave Fin's life path with lots of love? A foster home would also be warmly welcome. Thank you, Janine, for taking on her nametag sponsorship. As of: 08.04. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Stand: 08.04.2025

About Fina

What life with Fina looks like

Fina is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
