Kizim & Beyaz

Kangal Female Dogs Born: 25.12.2013/20.02.2017 Foreign: friendly Children: should be a bit older Rüden: ?female dogs: No Kizim and Bayaz are two imposing Kangal female dogs that came to the animal shelter because they were seized by the authorities. They stood out when they exhibited their prey drive on a small animal farm. Their former owner unfortunately did not comply with the official requirements (walking the dogs in public only on a leash and muzzle, with an adult person) and thus another incident occurred with another dog. For future owners, it is necessary to acquire the necessary knowledge about the husbandry of dogs with restrictions. We are happy to advise and support you in this. Also, one must be clear that the girls must always wear a leash and muzzle on all public paths. Kizim was born on 25.12.2013 and is the mother. Her daughter Bayaz was born on 20.02.2017. Kizim is the teacher and will gladly explain to her daughter where the rabbit runs. Bayaz, however, brings significantly more power and agility to the streets and is age-appropriate much more agile. When Bayaz and Kizim encounter other dogs on a walk, they want to bark at them or would attack them (if they are let off the leash). With appropriate handling, the two can also pass by other dogs very peacefully. That the dog handler should have a stable stance is clear given the size of the girls. At the animal shelter, the two Kangal ladies show themselves as exceptionally open and friendly. They meet both adults and children curiously and friendly and also let themselves be stroked and touched after a short get-to-know-you period. However, children in the household should be able to stand the size of the dogs. Our Kangal ladies do not value other pets in the household, as they are clearly hunting-motivated. Even smaller dogs should not be in the household. Whether they could be associated with a large, sovereign male dog would have to be tested in peace and ultimately it always depends on the sympathy. Since Kangals are not couch potatoes, it would definitely please the girls to have a large securely fenced property to guard. Of course, this should not be without varied walks and family connection! We therefore wish for the two a house with a garden as a future residence. Some symptoms here are age-related.

About Kizim & Beyaz

What life with Kizim & Beyaz looks like

Kizim & Beyaz is a large senior mixed breed dog waiting at Hedwig-Trampert-Tierheim Dillingen in Dillingen.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kizim & Beyaz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kizim & Beyaz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hedwig-Trampert-Tierheim Dillingen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kizim & Beyaz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kizim & Beyaz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hedwig-Trampert-Tierheim Dillingen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kizim & Beyaz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kizim & Beyaz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hedwig-Trampert-Tierheim Dillingen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kizim & Beyaz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
