Gambit is a male mixed-breed dog born in 2024. He lived with his previous owners in a rural area in a house with a garden. The household included children aged 3 to 13 years old. Gambit was surrendered to us at the animal shelter due to issues with the male family members (parents and two sons aged 11 and 13). Unfortunately, there were situations where he either defended his mistress or his space (e.g., an eating table under which he was lying). Apart from these situations, he was described as very friendly and cuddly. Our impression confirms him to be a generally friendly and open character. The household also included a smaller second dog and a cat, with which he had no problems. Gambit has a good basic education and also goes well on a leash. All types of encounters do not pose a problem for the young fellow. He can stay alone at home for a reasonable amount of time and is also well house-trained. We are looking for people for Gambit who already have some dog experience and knowledge.

Gambit ist ein 2024 geborener Mischlingsrüde. Er lebte bei seinen ehemaligen Besitzern im ländlichen Bereich in Haus mit Garten. Im Haushalt lebten Kinder im Alter von 3 bis 13 Jahren. Gambit wurde bei uns im Tierheim abgegeben, weil es zu Problemen mit den männlichen Familienmitgliedern (Elternteil und Söhne im Alter von 11 und 13 Jahren) gekommen ist. Es kam leider zu Situationen, in denen er entweder sein Frauchen oder seinen Raum (zB. einen Esstisch, unter dem er gelegen ist) verteidigt hat. Außerhalb dieser Situationen wurde er als sehr nett und kuschelbedürftig beschrieben. Auch unser Eindruck bestätigt einen grundsätzlich freundlichen und offenen Kerl. Im Haushalt lebten auch ein kleiner Zweithund und auch eine Katze, mit denen es keinerlei Probleme gab. Gambit hat eine recht gute Grunderziehung und geht auch wunderbar an der Leine. Begegnungen aller Art stellen kein Problem für den jungen Burschen dar. Er kann eine angemessene Zeit alleine Zuhause bleiben und ist auch brav stubenrein. Wir suchen für Gambit Menschen, die schon ein wenig Hundeerfahrung und Wissen mitbringen.
