Adopt Gary 2 - reserviert | EFfL e.V

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

♂, born ca. 06/2025, friendly - dog-experienced in Rota/Southern Spain Gary is a ca. 06/2026 born young tomcat who lives in the shelter in Rota. Gary was brought to the animal shelter Rota as a kitten in late September with a complicated femur fracture. The injury had to be operated on immediately, and although he was so young, he coped calmly and bravely. For recovery, he moved into a foster home with dogs and cats and was immediately right in the middle of it. Whether four-legged or human: Gary gets along with all, remains friendly, open, and curious. In the meantime, he has grown into a wonderful young tomcat, is fully recovered, and full of joy. Since his recovery, he had to move into the shelter and has also quickly adapted to the new situation. There, he greets the helpers with his unmistakable purring, runs after them, and clearly shows that he wants to be stroked. The helpers at the animal shelter are currently suffering a lot from the severe floods, but Gary always manages to put a smile on their faces. And if something is a bit scary for him, Gary quickly retreats under a blanket, looks out with big eyes, ears pricked, paws always ready to play. Gary is curious, cuddly, and simply a really lovable guy. As an absolutely friendly and social tomcat, Gary is not placed in single housing. He is already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV, making him ready to travel. The adoption fee is 250 €. Would you like to give Gary a nice home? Then contact us via the contact form. Important information for Berlin-based interested parties: Currently, there are only very limited transport options between Southern Spain and Berlin. Therefore, animals from Rota would most likely have to be picked up in Hannover. However, places for Berlin could also become available in the short term if we are lucky. ©2022 by Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. Created with Wix.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
