Gimbo the little one had to fight for his life at the Perrera Resurja Linares shelter, as he was heavily harassed and mobbed by much larger dogs in his enclosure. Our Spanish team became aware of him during the pickup of our reserved dogs because he was constantly screaming out of fear in that enclosure. The Perrera staff confirmed that it was only a matter of time before he was seriously injured or even killed by the other dogs. It unfortunately took a few more days until we could finally rescue him there. Gimbo came to our refuge in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and now plays fearlessly with his buddies, runs around, and enjoys his new life. Nevertheless, every dog wishes for a proper, safe home of their own. For Gimbo, we wish responsible people who might already be familiar with the breed Podenco and live in a rural area with a fenced garden and a friendly-only dog policy, who can spend plenty of time with him. Gimbo is very people-friendly, open, loving, and playful, a mood-lifter of a dog. This animal has a history of biting.

Der kleine Gimbo musste in der Perrera Resurja Linares um sein Leben kämpfen, er wurde von den wesentlich größeren Hunden in seinem Zwinger stark bedrängt und gemobbt. Unser spanisches Team wurde bei der Abholung unserer reservierten Hunde auf ihn aufmerksam, weil er in besagtem Zwinger permanent vor Angst geschrien hat. Der Perrera-Mitarbeiter bestätigte, dass es nur eine Frage der Zeit ist, bis er noch ernsthafter verletzt oder gar tot gebissen werden würde. Es dauerte dann leider doch noch ein paar Tage bis wir ihn schlussendlich dort raus retten konnten. Gimbo kam in unser Refugio in Sanlúcar de Barrameda und spielt dort angstfrei mit seinen Kumpels, rennt herum und genießt sein neugewonnenes Leben. Nichtsdestotrotz wünscht sich jeder Hund ein richtiges, sicheres eigenes Zuhause. Für Gimbo wünschen wir uns verantwortungsvolle Menschen, die sich vielleicht schon mit der Rasse Podenco auskennen und in ländlicher Umgebung mit umzäuntem Garten und gerne mit freundlichem Ersthund leben und viel Zeit für ihn aufbringen können. Gimbo ist sehr menschenfreundlich, offen, liebevoll, verträglich und lustig, ein Gute-Laune-Hund.
