Adopt GINO 2078

Male · Young · 1 year

Gino was saved from a private shelter in Dâmbovița County on June 17, 2025, and arrived at Ringo Land Romania with much fear and distrust. Life had taught him that people can be bad, and at first, it was hard for him to believe that there were places where he was safe. When he came to us, Gino was withdrawn and attentive to every movement around him. He entered our behavioral and emotional rehabilitation program, and through much work, patience, and dedication, he began to slowly open his heart. Step by step, he discovered that the hands of people can bring comfort, not fear. Today, Gino is a completely different dog. He has become playful, curious, and much more trusting. He learns to go to the bathroom, respond to basic commands like "stay" and "see," and begins to enjoy simple things he couldn't have before. Although he is a small dog, under 40 cm, Gino has a strong and brave personality. He is not intimidated by other dogs and has an attitude that makes him seem much larger than he is. At the same time, he has a sensitive and affectionate side that appears as soon as he gains trust in someone. With his black, fluffy coat, white chest, and expressive eyes, Gino is a dog that immediately catches attention. Sometimes he looks curious, other times he seems to be smiling, and his cheerful energy makes those around him quickly attach to him. A funny detail from his story is that in RECS, the Romanian dog identification program, Gino was registered as female. However, after the checks we conducted upon arrival at our shelter, it was proven that he is male—another proof that no one had given him the attention and care he deserved.

About GINO 2078

GINO 2078 is a small young adult dog waiting at No Limit Pets in Romania.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting GINO 2078, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about GINO 2078?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. No Limit Pets handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw GINO 2078 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt GINO 2078 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — No Limit Pets will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is GINO 2078 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if GINO 2078 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with No Limit Pets early rather than rehoming privately; they know GINO 2078 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
