Gru – a heartwarming dog seeks his Forever Home Since October 2022, the beautiful mixed-breed male dog Gru has been eagerly waiting at the Spanish animal shelter for his chance. With his hazel eyes, he immediately draws all the attention – and his gentle nature makes him a very special dog. Gru loves being close to humans, enjoys cuddle sessions, and can be won over quickly with treats. One of the volunteers regularly takes him for walks, and when Gru spots him, he can hardly contain his joy. Outside, he shows curiosity, sniffs the grass thoroughly, and takes in the world attentively. People, cars, or other dogs hardly upset him – only horses and cats interest him a bit more. Yet, as much as he enjoys these small moments of freedom – most of the time, Gru spends alone in his enclosure. He lies in his hut and quietly watches the life outside. A sight that breaks your heart, because that is not a life a dog deserves! Gru longs for a loving family that will give him security and show him the world. For his happiness, he should move into a home without other dogs or cats as an individual prince. He needs people with dog experience who will give him security and gradually lead him into a new, beautiful life. Gru – ein Herzenshund sucht sein Für-immer-Zuhause Seit Oktober 2022 wartet der wunderschöne Mischlingsrüde Gru im spanischen Tierheim sehnsüchtig auf seine Chance. Mit seinen bernsteinfarbenen Augen zieht er sofort alle Blicke auf sich – und auch sein sanftes Wesen macht ihn zu einem ganz besonderen Hund. Gru liebt die Nähe zum Menschen, genießt Kuscheleinheiten und lässt sich mit Leckerlis schnell das Herz erobern. Einer der Freiwilligen nimmt ihn regelmäßig mit auf Spaziergänge, und schon wenn Gru ihn entdeckt, kann er seine Freude kaum zurückhalten. Draußen zeigt er sich neugierig, schnuppert ausgiebig im Gras und nimmt die Welt aufmerksam in sich auf. Menschen, Autos oder andere Hunde bringen ihn dabei kaum aus der Ruhe – nur bei Pferden und Katzen ist er noch etwas interessierter. Doch so sehr er diese kleinen Momente der Freiheit genießt – die meiste Zeit verbringt Gru allein in seinem Zwinger. Er liegt in seiner Hütte und schaut still auf das Leben draußen.
