How do I contact the shelter about Haidi?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Haidi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Haidi if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Haidi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Haidi isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Haidi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Haidi

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Haidi is a 3-year-old female dog with a unique, ash-gray coat that is eye-catching and gives her a distinctive appearance. She is a dog full of energy and curiosity about the world, eagerly discovering new places and experiences every day. Haidi loves long walks, during which she can explore her surroundings, as well as play, which brings her great joy and helps her expend her natural activity. Haidi's character is very friendly and open to people - she quickly establishes contact and enjoys spending time with her owner. However, she approaches other dogs selectively, so it's important for the future owner to know her needs and be able to provide her with the right conditions that will allow her to feel safe and comfortable. Haidi keeps her box clean and walks nicely on a leash. Haidi is an intelligent and eager to learn dog, so she would be perfect for an active person who will devote time to training, playing, and joint challenges. We are looking for a home for her where she will be loved, respected, and where she will be able to fulfill her needs related to movement and exploration. If you are looking for an energetic, curious, and devoted dog that will bring a lot of joy and positive energy to your life, Haidi may be the perfect companion. We invite you to contact us to get to know Haidi better and learn more about her character and needs. Haidi is registered under the number 13219/185/25. About Haidi

What life with Haidi looks like

Haidi is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
