Meet the beautiful Jemma. Aged 10 years, poor Jemma’s world was turned upside down after the introduction of a bouncy young dog into her family home. She was already struggling with the rather hectic nature of the busy household, so the arrival of an exuberant pup was simply too much for her and as a consequence she was spending her days upstairs, hiding away under a bed. Her family recognised that this was no life for her and sought our help, and we are now seeking her forever home. She initially settled in really well to the cattery, clearly relieved to have a pen to call her own with a strict "no dogs" policy! However, we have noticed that she has become a little guarded over her personal space - her box bed is her sanctuary, so people must wait for her to come to them. Once she does, she is all about the miaows and head bumps - just be sure to allow things to be on her terms! Jemma is clearly a girl who prefers a quieter pace of life, so we are seeking a calm home with no other pets and no children. With people she loves and trusts she is extremely sweet natured, so we can see that she is going to make a cat-savvy someone the most wonderful and affectionate companion. If you have a quiet home and lots of love to give to a feline friend, then Jemma could be the girl for you.
