JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS)

Mixed Breed Cat · Unknown · Kitten

Important: After you submit an online application form to adopt a cat from our branch, we will contact you asap by email to explain the next steps. If you don’t see any reply from us, please also check your junk or spam folder. Jessy and Jinny are two gorgeous girls who came to us via the inspectorate team along with two other cats. They are a bonded pair, and although we know it’s a bigger ask for someone to take two cats together, we really don’t want to split them up. Please read what their foster carer has to say about them below: ‘Jessy and Jinny are two young, lively bonded sisters who would like to stay together. They are approximately nine months old. Jinny is the more confident and happily mingles with visitors, while Jessy is a little shy with people she doesn't know. Once she is confident with you, she loves to lie next to you and have her tummy stroked. They are both mischievous and full of fun. They wash and groom each other, which often ends in a play fight and zooming around the house. They both love to drink out of a running tap, and jobs such as washing up or taking a shower are never done without their watchful eye. They like to snuggle up on the bed at night and enjoy being around you. They need to be house cats primarily but could go outside in a safe, private garden for short periods if supervised. They would also need to be the only cats in their new home. Could you offer these two lovely girls a home where they can stay together?’ Please click or tap 'Adopt Me' below to start the adoption process.

About JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS)

What life with JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) looks like

JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know JESSY & JINNY (PAIR OF HOUSE CATS) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
