Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female

Mixed Breed Cat · Female

Hello… we’re a little nervous, so we’ll whisper this together. I’m Ginny, the slightly braver one, and this is my brother Jimmy. We do everything together. If you see one of us, the other won’t be far away. We are always checking in and making sure the other is safe. That is why we need to find a home together. We would be lost without each other. The world still feels big and a bit scary to us. We are very shy, but we are curious too. We like to watch from a distance, peek around corners, and sometimes, when we feel safe we even have a little play. We are learning that maybe humans are not so frightening after all, we just need someone patient, kind, and experienced to help us understand. We are looking for a calm, quiet home where things do not change too quickly. Loud noises and lots of activity make us want to hide, so a home without young children would suit us best. We are not sure how we feel about dogs yet, they might be a bit much for us, but a friendly, confident cat could really help show us the way and teach us how to be brave. Our perfect human will have lots of time to spend with us. Not to rush us or push us, just to sit nearby, speak softly, and let us come forward when we are ready. It might take a little while, but we promise it will be worth it. Beneath all this shyness are two gentle, sweet little hearts waiting to grow. Once we feel safe and settled, we might enjoy exploring a garden at our own pace, or we might decide that indoors is where we feel happiest. A safe catio would be perfect too, especially if we are still feeling unsure. We may be timid now, but with love, patience, and time we think we could become something really special. Our adoption fee is £370

About Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female

What life with Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female looks like

Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female is a large adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jimmy and Ginny- 16 Week Old Male and Female and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
