Two years ago, he was rescued from an animal hoarding case where he lived with many other dogs. Despite all the darkness and filth, he never lost his light. Every day at the shelter, he shows his best side: friendly, lively, absolutely social, curious, and always full of love. He wins everyone over with his sweet gaze—especially when he tilts his head and looks at you with his loyal eyes. And yet, Jimmy has been waiting for about two years to finally be seen. He longs for a home where he can settle in, find a warm bed, and receive the love he so generously gives. Perhaps you are the person who will give Jimmy's heart a home??? November 2023: In April, we took in 10 dogs from a severe animal hoarding case. Now, we face another one... An Englishman had been doing animal welfare for years, but somehow it all got out of hand. Everyone dropped off dogs with him, but they were not rehomed, and eventually, there were about 17 or 18 dogs in a completely filthy and neglected house. Tim has to work all day, the neighbors complain, and the windows must stay closed—the situation is unbearable for everyone. At least most of the dogs are neutered. As a first step, we already took in five of the dogs in June and now we have picked up the remaining nine dogs from Tim... Jimmy is about 1.5 years old and 52cm tall, currently weighing 14.4kg. He is very compatible with other dogs and friendly towards people. It would be wonderful if loving families could quickly be found for these battered souls, to show them what life really means! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, and have an EU pet passport. Jimmy will be supported by Anja Altenbach with 20€ per month starting from March 2026—thank you very much.

I-Nr.: r-korfu-jimmy-m-1123 Update August 2025: Wer Jimmy kennenlernt, spürt sofort: Er ist einfach ein Schatz, der die Welt ein Stück heller macht. Dabei trägt Jimmy eine große Geschichte in sich. Vor zwei Jahren wurde er aus einem Animal-Hoarding-Fall befreit, in dem er mit vielen anderen Hunden lebte. Doch trotz all der Dunkelheit und des Drecks hat er sein Licht niemals verloren. Er zeigt sich im Shelter jeden Tag von seiner schönsten Seite: freundlich, aufgeweckt, absolut sozial, neugierig und immer voller Liebe. Er wickelt jeden mit seinem süßen Blick um den Finger – besonders, wenn er den Kopf schieflegt und dich mit seinen treuen Augen ansieht. Und trotzdem wartet Jimmy seit etwa zwei Jahren darauf, endlich gesehen zu werden. Er sehnt sich nach einem Zuhause, in dem er ankommen darf, ein warmes Bettchen findet und die Liebe zurückbekommt, die er so großzügig verschenkt. Vielleicht bist genau du der Mensch, der Jimmys Herz ein Zuhause schenkt??? November 2023: Erst im April hatten wir 10 Hunde aus einem schlimmen Animal Hoarding-Fall aufgenommen. Nun steht uns der nächste Fall bevor... Ein Engländer hat jahrelang Tierschutz gemacht, doch irgendwie ist ihm nun alles über den Kopf gewachsen. Jeder hat Hunde bei ihm abgeliefert, aber vermittelt wurden sie irgendwie nicht und so saßen irgendwann knapp 17 oder 18 Hunde in einem völlig verdreckten und verwahrlosten Haus. Tim muss den ganzen Tag arbeiten, die Nachbarn beschweren sich, die Fenster müssen daher zu bleiben - die Situation ist für alle unerträglich. Zumindest sind die meisten Hunde kastriert. Als Erstmaßnahme hatten wir bereits im Juni fünf der Hunde im Tierheim aufgenommen und nun haben wir die noch verbleibenden 9 Hunde von Tim abgeholt... Jimmy ist ca. 1,5 Jahre alt und etwa 52cm groß bei aktuell 14,4kg Gewicht. Er ist sehr verträglich mit anderen Hunden und freundlich beim Menschen.Es wäre schön, wenn sich für diese geschundenen Seelen schnell liebevolle Familien finden, die ihnen zeigen was leben wirklich bedeutet! Alle Hunde sind erstgeimpft, gechipt und haben einen EU-Heimtierausweis.
