Karol is a large, black and tan dog, approximately 11 years old. When he arrived at the shelter, he growled and barked. However, we immediately saw that this behavior was caused by fear. When you approach him calmly, offer him a treat, and spend some time with him, Karol changes into a friendly, happy dog. Karol walks nicely on a leash. He usually stays close to his owner, although he likes to sniff and explore. Due to his size, he has a lot of strength and when he gets excited, he can pull, but this happens rarely. He generally has no problem with other dogs, he did not show aggression towards neighbors during quarantine, and he usually ignores other animals on walks. Karolek loves playing in the run. He knows what the toys are for and how to use them, he likes unrestricted running and exploring all the corners. One problem we noticed is that Karol guards his food bowl. Perhaps he had to fight for food before, he did not eat enough or was starved. We can't say for sure, but we know that this is something that can be overcome with a little effort. Karolek is now waiting for some wonderful people who will show him love and decide to adopt him. In a quiet, home environment, he will surely flourish and become the best companion for the rest of his life :) Karol is registered under the number 12693/193/23. He has been vaccinated against rabies and infectious diseases and has been microchipped. He has undergone a neutering procedure. KAROLKarol to duży, czarny podpalany, ok. 11-letni pies.Kiedy do nas trafił, warczał i szczekał. Widzieliśmy jednak od razu, że jest to zachowanie spowodowane strachem. Kiedy podejdzie się do niego na spokojnie, zaoferuje jakiś dobry smaczek, pobędzie z nim przez chwilę - Karolek zmienia się w przyjaznego, radosnego psiaka.Karol ładnie chodzi na smyczy. Zwykle idzie blisko opiekuna, choć lubi węszyć i zwiedzać. Z uwagi na swoje gabaryty ma dużo siły i kiedy się czymś podekscytuje, potrafi pociągnąć, ale zdarza się to rzadko. Generalnie nie ma problemu z innymi psami, podczas kwarantanny nie wykazywał agresji w stosunku do sąsiadów, a na spacerach raczej ignoruje inne zwierzęta.Karolek uwielbia zabawę na wybiegu. Wie, do czego służą zabawki i jak ich używać, lubi nieskrępowany bieg i zwiedzanie wszystkich kątów.Jeden problem, jaki zauważyliśmy, to fakt, że Karol broni miski. Być może musiał wcześniej walczyć o jedzenie, nie dojadał lub był głodzony.
