Once upon a time, there were five pure white kittens. Five little balls of fur, as white as snow... until someone found a can of black paint. And yes, there they went! A dab here, a swipe there, a black spot on the head, a dark back and a few extra paint strokes here and there. No kitten escaped the paintbrush. Only the tails were a bit enthusiastic... they all turned completely black! So, five unique black-and-white kittens emerged from the paint pot. All with their own special pattern, but with one thing in common: a pitch-black tail. And if you look closely, you might still see a small white hair somewhere where the painter forgot... These 5 kittens are now looking for their forever home, meet: Kasey After a few weeks of getting used to her foster mom, Kasey started to trust her. Not that she comes to report it nicely... the lady does everything on her own terms. At first, it was mostly keeping her distance and approving from a safe place. But now she just comes to get her cuddles herself. And if she doesn't feel like it, she climbs on top of the towels in the bathroom cabinet to go to sleep there. So well hidden that I then wonder where in the world she has gone. The roles are now clear: Kasey decides when to cuddle. Kasey decides how long. Kasey decides where she sleeps. And people should be grateful that they are even allowed to pamper her. Kasey may need a little time to thaw in her forever home. But honestly... she's worth the wait, she's soooo sweet.

Er waren eens vijf spierwitte kittens. Vijf kleine bolletjes wol, zo wit als sneeuw… totdat iemand een pot zwarte verf vond. En ja hoor… daar gingen ze! Een likje hier, een veegje daar, een zwart vlekje op het hoofd, een donkere rug en hier en daar nog wat extra verf. Geen kitten ontsnapte aan de verfkwast.Alleen de staartjes werden een beetje enthousiast aangepakt… die werden bij alle vijf gewoon helemaal zwart! Zo kwamen er uiteindelijk vijf unieke zwart-witte kittens uit de verfpot tevoorschijn. Allemaal met hun eigen bijzondere tekening, maar met één ding gemeen: een pikzwarte staart. En als je goed kijkt, zie je misschien nog wel ergens een klein wit haartje waar de schilder iets vergeten is… Deze 5 kittens zijn nu op zoek naar hun forever home, maak kennis met: Kasey Na een aantal weken gewenning begon Kasey haar opvang mama te vertrouwen. Niet dat ze dat even netjes komt melden natuurlijk… mevrouw doet alles op haar eigen voorwaarden. Eerst was het vooral afstand houden en goedkeuren vanaf een veilige plek. Maar inmiddels komt ze gewoon zélf haar knuffel halen. En als ze even geen zin heeft in personeel, dan kruipt ze bovenop de handdoeken in de badkamerkast om daar heerlijk te gaan slapen. Zo goed verstopt dat ik me vervolgens afvraag waar ze in vredesnaam gebleven is. De rollen zijn inmiddels duidelijk:Kasey bepaalt wanneer er geknuffeld wordt.Kasey bepaalt hoelang.Kasey bepaalt waar ze slaapt.En mensen mogen dankbaar zijn dat ze überhaupt aangenomen worden om haar te vertroetelen. Kasey heeft dus misschien een beetje tijd nodig om in haar forever home te ontdooien. Maar eerlijk… ze is het zo waard om op te wachten, ze is zooo lief.
