He is likely a Windhund-Mix and captivates with his affectionate demeanor. He is a dog who is incredibly friendly and gentle with people. Keylam loves being spoiled and stroked by his people and shows a sweet smile while doing so. Windhunds were originally bred for hunting. Also, Keylam reacts to movement cues. If the Windhund gets enough exercise, he is a calm, balanced housemate who loves to be close to his people. An ideally fenced-in yard would be optimal, where he has the opportunity to run freely and quickly as needed. Keylam already gets along well with harness and leash and is very attuned to his people. Search and sniffing games bring him great joy. Car rides are no problem. At his foster home, he lives harmoniously with a female dog. His story is touching: He was found severely injured by the roadside. It is likely that he was dragged behind a car and then left. As an emergency case, he was taken to the animal clinic, where three fractures were diagnosed – in the femur, the hip joint, and the ischial tuberosity. In a complex operation, the femur fracture was fixed with a plate. The hip joint fracture was not operated on after consultation with two German doctors, he has a hip dysplasia. With physiotherapy, he was built up to the point where he can now easily walk for two hours. He loves movement and likes to dash through the garden of his foster home. Keylam is looking for a loving home that can provide physiotherapy or, if necessary, treatment for later arthroses. An ideal home would be a ground-floor house with a garden, in a suburban or rural area, where he can move safely and enjoy his new life pain-free. For a harmonious coexistence, Keylam is looking for a home as a single prince or with a female dog. Due to his hunting drive, he should not be with cats or small animals. After the adjustment period, the young male dog would also likely enjoy a visit to a positively working dog training class, which would also strengthen the bond. Keylam ist etwa 2,5 Jahre alt und hat eine Schulterhöhe von ca. 63 cm. Er ist vermutlich ein Windhund-Mix und verzaubert durch seine liebevolle Ausstrahlung. Er ist ein Hund, der Menschen gegenüber unglaublich freundlich und sanftmütig ist. Keylam liebt es, von seinen Menschen verwöhnt und gestreichelt zu werden und zeigt dabei ein süßes Lächeln. Windhunde wurden ursprünglich für die Jagd gezüchtet. Auch Keylam reagiert auf Bewegungsreize. Bekommt der Windhund genügend Bewegung, ist er Zuhause ein ruhiger, ausgeglichener Hausgenosse, der es liebt nah bei seinen Menschen zu liegen. Optimal wäre daher ein gut eingezäunter Garten, in der er die Gelegenheit hat, nach Bedarf frei und schnell laufen zu dürfen. Keylam kommt bereits gut mit Geschirr und Leine zurecht und orientiert sich dabei sehr an seinen Menschen. Such-, Schnüffelspiele bereiten ihm viel Freude. Autofahren ist kein Problem. Bei seiner Pflegestelle lebt er harmonisch mit einer Hündin zusammen. Seine Geschichte ist bewegend: Er wurde schwer verletzt am Straßenrand gefunden. Vermutlich wurde er hinter einem Auto hinterher geschleift und dann liegengelassen. Als Notfall wurde er in die Tierklinik gebracht, wo bei ihm drei Frakturen diagnostiziert wurden – am Darmbein, am Hüftgelenk und am Sitzbeinhöcker. In einer aufwendigen Operation, wurde die Darmbeinfraktur mit einer Platte fixiert. Die Hüftgelenksfraktur wurde nach Einholung zweier deutscher Ärzte-Meinungen nicht operiert, er hat einen Beckenengstand. Mit Physiotherapie wurde er soweit wieder aufgebaut, dass er jetzt mühelos 2 Stunden Spazierengehen kann. Er liebt die Bewegung und flitzt gerne durch den Garten seiner Pflegestelle. Keylam sucht ein liebevolles Zuhause, welches ihm nach Bedarf Physiotherapie oder soweit nötig bei späteren Arthrosen, Behandlungen ermöglichen kann. Ideal wäre ein ebenerdiges Zuhause mit Garten, am Stadtrand oder in ländlicher Umgebung, wo er sich sicher bewegen und sein neues Leben schmerzfrei genießen kann. Für ein harmonisches Zusammenleben sucht Keylam ein Zuhause als Einzelprinz oder bei einer Hündin. Aufgrund seines jagdtriebs sollte er nicht zu Katzen oder Kleintieren. Nach der Eingewöhnung würde dem jungen Rüden sicher auch der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule gefallen, das würde auch die Bindung nochmals stärken.
