Klecks

adoption requirements adoption process Request this dog now! adoption requirements adoption process Request this dog now! Klecks is the perfect name for this brave, little female dog, whose white fur is marked with black spots and splashes. Her expressive, black eyes look soft and calm into the camera. The pretty female dog gave birth to four little puppies completely alone and without human assistance in a lonely orchard. Unfortunately, the four little ones fell ill with the life-threatening Parvovirus and were incredibly lucky to be found and saved as a family. Now, we are urgently seeking loving people to adopt the sweet Klecks and her puppies, showing them the beautiful side of life. Kind foster homes would also make their transition to a better life easier. Currently, Klecks and her puppies are housed in a private shelter in Baia Mare. Although this is not an ideal place for any dog, the little dog family is safe, receives regular food, and can hope for a good future. Klecks is estimated to be around four years old – so she has the perfect age to start anew. She has moved beyond the wild phase of her life but is still a young female dog with almost her whole life ahead of her. Klecks weighs approximately 50 cm and 18 kg. She shows herself to be very friendly and clingy with people, and the little mouse gets along well with other dogs too. Probably, Klecks has not yet experienced life in a house and has not heard much about house training and leash walking. She will therefore have to learn a lot in her new home. But with understanding, patience, and loving consistency, her development into a happy and well-behaved family dog can be fostered. We would recommend a visit to a positively working dog training class, as shared training and many positive experiences with her new people will provide her with security and support her adaptation to her new people. Do you want to be the person who shows Klecks how beautiful life as a beloved family member can be? Then contact us. Klecks can travel to her new home with an EU pet passport, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. A special thank you goes to Monika V., who gave Klecks her perfect name and thus her own identity. As of: 16.03.2026 adoption requirements adoption process Request this dog now!

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Klecks

What life with Klecks looks like

Klecks is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Klecks, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Klecks?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Klecks on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Klecks if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Klecks already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Klecks isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Klecks and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
