Lancelot is a tiger-striped cat, approximately 6 years old, who arrived at our shelter after being found wandering. Despite the announcements made, no owner has come forward until today. 💔 According to the law, an owner has two months to claim a lost animal. Without a claim, Lancelot will be adoptable definitively from July 21, 2026. 🏡 Lancelot is a very gentle and affectionate cat. He was entrusted to us after testing positive for FIV. To preserve the health of other cats, he must therefore live exclusively indoors, with no access to the outdoors. He will be placed in a cat-free environment! A FIV-positive cat is not condemned. Carrier of the feline immunodeficiency virus, he can live many healthy years and have a life expectancy similar to that of a non-infected cat. FIV, often called "cat AIDS," weakens the immune system. To date, Lancelot is, however, totally asymptomatic. Lancelot est un adorable chat tigré d’environ 6 ans, arrivé chez nous après avoir été trouvé errant. Malgré les annonces diffusées, aucun propriétaire ne s’est manifesté jusqu’à aujourd’hui. 💔 C’est un chat extrêmement gentil, affectueux et très proche de l’humain. Il adore les câlins et la compagnie. Avant son arrivée au refuge, Lancelot a vécu longtemps dans la rue, où il a malheureusement participé à de nombreuses bagarres avec d’autres chats. Il nous a été confié afin de soigner ses multiples blessures et a alors été testé positif au FIV. ❗ Être porteur du FIV n’est pas une condamnation. Le virus de l’immunodéficience féline permet à de nombreux chats de vivre de longues années en parfaite santé, avec une espérance de vie parfois comparable à celle d’un chat non infecté. À ce jour, Lancelot est totalement asymptomatique. Nous recherchons pour lui un foyer calme et aimant. Un logement spacieux avec une terrasse sécurisée pourrait lui convenir. L’idéal serait toutefois une maison avec un jardin entièrement clôturé lui permettant de profiter de l’extérieur en toute sécurité.
