Your story: Lavender was surrendered to the Public Shelter in Romania with her 6 siblings and their mother Sheila. Lavender is now a roughly 1-year-old female dog who has grown and must leave her family due to private circumstances. She is likely to remain medium-sized, measuring currently at 55 cm. She is curious and turned towards her people. With her short black-brown spotted fur, glossy black button eyes, and a moist gleaming nose, Lavender is a truly enchanting female dog. Lavender is sometimes so turned towards her people that she no longer finds visitors in her domain inviting. She still needs to learn to give up control and accept visitors. Additionally, Lavender has now fully arrived at her pubertal stage and tests her boundaries every day. Lavender is likely a German Shepherd mix and needs the corresponding physical and mental stimulation. A family with experience with herding and guard dogs would be ideal. She reacts strongly to environmental stimuli, so we envision a quieter environment for her. Lavender still has much to learn, and cooperation with a positively working dog training class or the guidance of a professional trainer would be beneficial. Patient and loving training will strengthen Lavender’s self-confidence and the bond to her trusted people. Through regular contact with fellow animals and many positive experiences with her people, the clever female dog will quickly learn the 1×1 for a wonderful family dog and develop into a happy and reliable companion. Ihre Geschichte: Lavender wurde gemeinsam mit ihren 6 Geschwistern und ihrer Mutter Sheila im Public Shelter in Rumänien abgegeben. Lavender ist mittlerweile zu einer ca. 1 Jahr alten Hündin herangewachste und muss aufgrund von privaten Lebensumständen ihre Familie wieder verlassen. Ausgewachsen bleibt sie vermutlich mittelgroß und misst aktuell 55 cm. Sie ist neugierig und ihren Menschen zugewandt. Mit ihrem kurzen schwarz-braun gezeichneten Fell, den lackschwarzen Knopfaugen und einer feucht glänzenden Nase ist Lavender ein ganz entzückende Hundedame Lavender ist ihren Menschen manchmal aber auch so zugewandt, dass sie Besucher in ihrem Reich nicht mehr so einladend findet. Sie muss noch lernen die Kontrolle abzugeben und Besuch zu akzeptieren. Zudem ist Lavender mittlerweile vollkommenen in ihrer Pubertät angekommen und testet jeden Tag aufs Neue ihre Grenzen. Lavender ist vermutlich ein Schäferhund Mix und braucht auch dementsprechende körperliche und mentale Auslastung. Eine Familie die bereits Erfahrung mit Schäfer- und Hütehunden hat, wäre wünschenswert. Sie reagiert stark auf Umweltreize weshalb wir uns eine ruhige Umgebung besser für sie vorstellen können. Lavender muss noch viel lernen, wobei die Zusammenarbeit mit einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule oder die Begleitung durch einen Hundetrainer von Vorteil wäre. Geduldiges und liebevolles Training wird Lavenders Selbstbewusstsein stärken und die Bindung zu ihren Bezugspersonen festigen. Durch regelmäßigen Kontakt zu Artgenossen und viele positive Erlebnisse mit ihren Menschen wird die schlaue Hündin das 1×1 für eine wunderbare Familienhündin schnell erlernen und sich zu einer fröhlichen und zuverlässigen Begleiterin entwickeln.
