Lennox

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Lennox is a one-year-old impressive young dog with a shoulder height of around 60 cm and a weight of about 40 kg. Despite his stately size, he is still in the midst of development and shows himself as a cheerful, curious, and people-oriented companion. Walks are among his absolute favorite activities. With shining eyes, Lennox explores his surroundings, enthusiastically discovers new paths, and enjoys every joint activity with his humans. His joie de vivre is contagious, and it's immediately noticeable that he still wants to experience a lot. Lennox generally shows social and tolerant behavior with other dogs. He currently lives problem-free with several dogs. Only one of his own kind does not quite fit - just like us humans, not everyone has to like everyone else. Lennox has not yet been tested with cats. For Lennox, we are looking for active and firm people who enjoy showing a young dog the world. Due to his size and weight, his future family should lovingly but consistently set boundaries and give him the necessary orientation. It is precisely now, in this important development phase, that the foundation is laid for a relaxed coexistence. Attending a positively working dog school would be a nice opportunity to learn together and strengthen the bond further. Lennox brings everything with him to develop into a wonderful companion: He is friendly, open-minded, and full of energy. Now he just needs a home where he can arrive and live as a fully fledged family member. Lennox is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-free. After a positive preliminary check and against a deposit fee, he can travel to his new family. Would you like to give Lennox the chance of a loving home? A heartfelt thank you to Anika S.! Through your support, Lennox not only got an identity but also the chance at a new life. Status: 01/07/2026 Further information on the preliminary check and deposit fee

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Lennox

What life with Lennox looks like

Lennox is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lennox, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lennox?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lennox on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lennox if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lennox already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lennox isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lennox and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
