Levi is very much a typical adolescent: bouncy, curious, eager to explore, and still figuring out his boundaries. When he gets excited he can mouth, and he needs calm, consistent guidance to help him understand what’s expected of him. But he is also incredibly loving, people‑oriented, and thrives on positive interaction. With the right structure and patience, he will blossom into the well‑mannered, confident dog we all know he can be. He would suit an active, adult‑only home where he can burn off his endless energy through long walks, off‑lead runs in safe spaces, and plenty of playtime. Once his needs are met, he settles beautifully — like many Lurchers, he’s a couch‑potato at heart, with the occasional 'mad hour' in the evenings that will make you laugh every time. Levi is crate‑trained, sleeps through the night, and is incredibly food‑motivated, which makes training both fun and effective. He loves toys, tug games, fetch, running, snuggling under the covers in the morning, and generally being involved in everything his humans do. He adores people and dogs alike, though his boisterous nature means he’s best suited to homes with older, dog‑savvy children, if any. He can play rough and still uses his mouth in excitement, so ongoing training is essential — but he learns quickly and wants to please. He can also reach kitchen counters, so a tidy home is a must for this cheeky chap! He travels well as long as he hasn’t eaten beforehand, and he's gradually becoming more confident when left alone. Levi is loveable and lively in equal measure — a big heart in a growing body, standing at 22 inches to the shoulder and still filling out. He needs a home that will guide him, train him, and celebrate him for the joyful, goofy, affectionate boy he is. With the right family, Levi will shine.
