This lovely Boerenfox is Lady! She is 9 years old (14-04-2017). Our dear Lady came to us after her owner passed away. Lady is a loving girl who thoroughly enjoys the well-deserved attention she gets. She finds new people, after she can sniff around quietly, very cozy and loves to cuddle. She also likes to play; playing with her snout is a favorite of hers. Walking with her is a pleasure, and she walks at a good pace. Due to her age and size, her condition isn't great, and a walk of 15/20 minutes is enough for her at the moment. We hope that a new owner will help her lose a bit of weight. In any case, Lady is not a lazy dog. On the playground, she jumps and bounds around freely, but she doesn't play anymore. However, puzzle toys are a favorite pastime, because this lady knows what food is. She can look incredibly cute when food is involved, and then you have to stand a bit firmer in your shoes to sometimes say no. Other dogs are fine to meet; sometimes playing can be fun, but it doesn't always have to be for her. Lady's old owner was always at home, so we don't know if she can be alone. We are looking for people who are often at home or can arrange a sitter so that the possibility of her being alone can be built up in peace. Deze lieve Boerenfox is Lady! Ze heeft een leeftijd van 9 jaar (14-04-2017). Onze lieve Lady is bij ons binnengekomen nadat haar eigenaar is overleden. Lady is een lief meisje dat volop van haar welverdiende aandacht geniet. Ze vindt nieuwe mensen, nadat ze even rustig kan snuffelen, erg gezellig en houdt ervan om te knuffelen. Spelen doet ze ook graag; lekker stoeien met haar bekje is een favoriet van haar. Mee wandelen doet ze met plezier en ze loopt vlot mee. Door haar leeftijd en omvang is haar conditie niet geweldig en is een wandeling van 15/20 minuutjes voor haar op dit moment genoeg. Wij hopen dat een eigenaar verder gaat om haar een beetje te laten afvallen. Overigens is Lady geen lui hondje. Op de speelweide hupst en springt ze er volop op los, maar echt spelen doet ze niet meer. Zoekspelletjes daarentegen zijn wel een favoriete bezigheid, want deze dame weet wel wat eten is. Ze kan onwijs schattig kijken als er eten in het spel is en dan moet je wat sterker in je schoenen staan om soms ook eens nee te zeggen. Andere honden vindt ze prima om tegen te komen; soms spelen kan leuk zijn, maar hoeft voor haar niet altijd. De oude eigenaar van Lady was altijd thuis, dus of zij alleen kan zijn, weten wij niet. We zoeken mensen die veel thuis zijn, of oppas kunnen regelen, zodat het alleen zijn eventueel rustig opgebouwd kan worden.
